Le groupe de death metal progressif CONTRARIAN sortira son nouvel album, intitulé Only Time Will Tell, le 20 novembre 2020 via Willowtip Records.

Le quatrième opus est à nouveau un album concept qui traite des sujets familiers du groupe comme la philosophie et la théologie. Le protagoniste de l’histoire se lance ici dans une aventure de voyage dans le temps pour la rédemption et l’amour.

L’album a été mixé par Neil Kernon et masterisé par Alan Douches. L’artwork est l’oeuvre de Guang Yang.

L’album a été enregistré et mixé par Tomek Spirala au Studio1134 à’ l’exception de la batterie enregistré au Kiwi Audio avec l’aide de Mark Walker. Il a été masterisé par J.F. Dagenais au JFD Studios à Dallas au Texas. L’artwork a été réalisé par Corporate Death et l’artiste Laz Gein.

Le sixième opus succédera à Grim Scary Tales paru en 2011 via Hammerheart Records.

Le guitariste Steve Hackett (ex-GENESIS) sortira son nouvel album, intitulé Selling England By The Pound & Spectral Mornings : Live At Hammersmith, le 25 septembre 2020 via InsideOut Music.

La captation a eu lieu en novembre 2019 lors d’un concert affichant complet au Hammersmith Apollo de Londres. Steve Hackett a interprété l’album de GENESIS Selling England By The Pound dans son intégralité tout en célébrant le quarantième anniversaire de son album solo Spectral Mornings, et en jouant des pistes de son récent album solo At The Edge Of Light.

Hackett s’est entouré de l’ingénieur son Ben Fenner tandis que Selling England By The Pound & Spectral Mornings : Live At Hammersmith a été mixé par Roger King et Steven Wilson pour le son surround.
